Voirin Desmoulins Réserve 2*
This family estate was created in 1960 and covers 9 hectares. The daughter of the founders took it over. Half-white half-black (Pinot Noir), the Reserve batch is from 2000 and 2001. Rounded, strong and expressive, the taste as well as the smell mix walnuts and citrus fruits. The Tradition batch (one star) also mixes equally black and white grapes, but the blend contains 20% of Pinot Meunier and the grapes were harvested in 2001 and 2002. It is a perfect champagne for your meals, generous, full-bodied and with aromas of cooked fruit.
